WHAT IS EVOLUTION?

When it comes to the debate about evolution, a major factor is how it is defined. Is evolution simply change over time? A caterpillar goes through metamorphosis, it changes into a butterfly. Is that evidence of evolution? It is change but it is not evolution. It is actually a great example of design! The point is, evolution as defined as “change over time” is too broad. It applies to just about anything living or not. Everything changes. A better definition is as Darwin described evolution: “descent with modification”.
