About Jim
Jim earned a B.A. in psychology from the University of Washington in 1979. He attended seminary at Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary and graduated with a Masters of Divinity in 1989.
Jim is the Director of Evidence Press, Inc., a 501c3 educational ministry and website dedicated to educating through documentaries, books, articles and podcasts.
We live in a world of tremendous confusion. Advertisements, radio, TV, media of all sorts assaults us with information while reliable sources for facts are lost is the sea of morass.
About Jim On The Street
Talking to strangers on the street is something Jim has done off and on since 2012. His main topic is evolution. What empirical evidence is there for evolution? While almost every western educated person accepts evolution as fact. Few people seem to have a clear understanding of what it is, what evidence supports it and why it is fundamentally flawed.
Though Jim is not a scientist, he helps people understand the basics of science as it relates to Creation and evolution. People interested in this topic need to understand, what is evolution, (not the popular idea of what it means). They need to understand the basics of the scientific method. Then think through empirical evidence for evolution, evidence that exclusively points back to natural causes.
Jim then helps people realize that exclusive empirical evidence for evolution does not exist. In contrast, Jim wants people to consider the numerous exclusive examples of empirical evidence pointing to God as Creator. A natural result is people realizing the claims of evolution are not scientific while the claims of Creation are scientific. Drawing that distinction is what these interviews are about.
